How to use the review step in shipping instructions (new experience)?

The review step will identify mandatory items that are missing for submission of shipping instructions.

The following items are mandatory for SI submit:

  1. Document step
    • Transport document receiver
    • Document type
    • Other mandatory fields (based on import/export country requirement)
  2. Party step
    • Shipper
    • Consignee
    • Other mandatory fields (based on import/export country requirement)
  3. Payer step
    • Payment term selected for all charges
    • Prepaid payer is assigned
  4. Cargo step
    • Container numbers
    • Number of packages
    • Kind of packages
    • Cargo weight
    • Cargo description
    • Other mandatory fields (based on import/export country requirement)

Bill of lading/Verify copy to be issued on additional email id

Due to demand on having additional email id field which helps to trigger Bill of lading/Verify copy to multiple email id’s, up to 5 email id’s can be added (1 each box)

Additional comments

This section can now be used only to provide House bill details like actual shipper/ Actual consignee and will be activated only when customer select “Are the shipper and/or consignee on the bill a freight forwarder?” as Yes and incase if customer want Carrier to create house bill on behalf of them on Document page.

Note: Please ensure to update below information in said fields.
  • Freetime clause – Document page under Documentation Requests
  • Agent address request – Document page under Documentation Requests
  • In-transit clause - Document page under Documentation Requests
  • Transshipment clause - Document page under Documentation Requests
  • Unrated copy – Payer page
  • Destination release/3rd Party release or Telex release request – On Documentation page under Release instructions (new feature coming soon)

Submit shipping instructions

The send shipping instructions button is enabled when all mandatory requirements have been met. Once a Shipping Instruction is submitted, you will get a copy of the Shipping instructions via email.

Instant Verify copy receipt

If our important and customs checks are successful post submission of a shipping instruction, then you will receive an Instant Verify Copy (IVC)

Hurray! Your draft bill of lading is now ready and been sent to you via e-mail.
You can also download the draft bill of lading from our portal.
In case any additional validations need to be performed, you will receive this message (Non-IVC)
Thank you for providing your shipping instructions!
We need to perform to perform some validations before we can share the draft bill of lading.
If you have already subscribed for an e-mail notification,
You will receive a copy in your mailbox

How to complete shipping instructions (new experience)?

If our internal checks are successful post submission of a shipping intruction, then you will receive an Instant Verify Copy (IVC)

In case any additional validations need to be performed, you will receive this message:

  1. Document
  2. Party
  3. Payer
  4. Cargo
  5. VGM
  6. Review
