Remark
- For new commodity reefer container will be effective on 1/Jul/23 onwards.
- This insurance policy will be expired automatically when customer returned all containers with no damage and no pending charges, e.g. Demurrage, Detention and 3rd recovery process.
Advisory for CDI
Import : Customers will be offered demurrage and detention.
This means you will have separate free time and compensation for utilisation of equipment inside (Demurrage) and outside (Detention) of terminals or depots, import demurrage starts from vesseldischarge. And calculation method of both demurrage and detention will be changed from Traditional to Progressive calculation.

1. Commodity
All reefer commodities including in transit shipment must present import license in Thailand for consider booking acceptant. All reefer containers for every commodities including in transit shipment must apply Container Deposit Insurance (CDI).

- "LOI" from shipper and consignee's details are requested on a shipment prior to booking acceptance.
- Consignee names must be identified on BL. 'TO ORDER' or TO ORDER of XXX are unacceptable.

- All shipment including in transit shipment must apply Container Deposit Insurance (CDI) before loading from transshipment port. (by consignee / notify party)

- Vehicles:
- Personal effects
With immediate effect, vehicles imported to Thailand must be declared as DG cargo; IMO Class 9/ UNNO 3166,
and DG-Net (DG authorized system) must be submitted accordingly. If customer would like to declare export shipment as Non-DG,
customer must provide the certificate that the vehicles’ fuel tank is empty and its battery pole is taken off.
Consignee on BL must be represented by the freight forwarder only.
2. Dangerous goods declaration
For dangerous cargo shipment imported to Thailand (except Klong Toey), customers have to declare DG cargo via http://www.dg-net.org within 5 days before ETA, otherwise cargo will not be allowed to discharge as per port regulation. For dangerous cargo shipment imported to Klong Toey (direct terminal), customers have to declare DG cargo via https://e-service.port.co.th/EPort/memberlogin.xhtml within 5 days before ETA, otherwise cargo will not be allowed to discharge as per port regulation.
3. Weight / Measurement
Weight limit for Open top, Flat rack, DG, Tank and Reefer with POD: Lat Krabang (THBKKLK), VGM must not over 31 tons as per advisory in attached file due to Thailand road limitation.
If VGM of Reefer over 31 tons, customer have to change POD to Laem Chabang (THLZP) or Sahathai (THBKKSH) instead.
If VGM of Open top, Flat rack, DG and Tank over 31 tons, customer have to change POD to Laem Chabang (THLZP) instead.
Remarks: Remarks: If we found actual VGM of Open top, Flat rack, DG, Tank and Reefer to POD: Lat krabang (THBKKLK) is over 31 MT, we will bill misdeclaration fee USD 5000 per container to Shipper/CNEE and CNEE have to change POD to clear at Laem chabang instead.

5. Requirement-Import
- Mark and Number : ""Shipping Mark OR Mark and numbers"" is a mandatory field for Thailand import manifest submission. Any packing that has shipping mark on their package must specify the shipping mark on the related document; otherwise; customer have to specify ""NO SHIPPING MARK"" if their packing is not specify shipping mark on their package. OR it will have penalty with maximum THB 50,000 for the importer.
- Consignee have to contact shipper at origin to revise GCSS in case that need to change POD (Place of delivery) and POD must be revised before cut-off enter.
- If consignee is personal name, Notify Party must be Thai company or represented by the freight forwarder. Invoice and credit party must be Thai company.
- Either consignee or notify party must be Thai customer since Customs won’t allow any foreign customer to discharge at THLZP.
- One shipment with multiple consignees should not be accepted. (Such requirements should be handled as split bookings & separate bill of ladings)
- Customer must clear container within 45 days once discharge at Laem Chabang. Otherwise, it will be seized by customs.
6. No Acceptance
** For shipment from Australia, India, Europe and USA , NO ACCEPTANCE FOR BANGKOK OLD PORT (ALSO KNOWN AS KLONG TOEY - THKLT). For all cargoes to Bangkok area, please use Lat Krabang ICD (THBKKLK) which is located 25 km away from central Bangkok and 90 km away from Laem Chabang.
7. Intransit shipment
- If consignee is foreigner, Notify Party must be Thai company.
- Intransit clause is required in cargo description.
- It is accept only POD: Laem Chabang (THLZP) and Bangkok PAT (THPKHKT, for shipment from Intra Asia only)**
- For reefer intransit, deposit maximum THB 150,000 per container must be settled to terminal by Thai company before vessel arrive around 3-4 days.
- Customer must clear container within 30 days once discharge at Laem Chabang. Otherwise, it will be seized by customs.
