Commodities
No specific restrictions apply, except to hazardous cargo that falls within the Classes 1, 7 and 9. Hazardous cargo is subject to approval prior booking acceptance at origin.
Special cargoes
Out of Gauge (OOG) cargo is only accepted after approval of dimensions. It is recommended that over height cargo does not exceed 2.90 meters in order to assure safe loading/discharge. No acceptance of LCL and/or Break Bulk cargoes.
Weight limitations
As vessel operations are performed by the ship's gear, weight limitation is up to maximum 25 metric tons gross weight (cargo and container weight).
45' containers
No acceptance of 45' containers in Cape Verde.

As a general guidance, the VGM should be received by Maersk prior to the cargo gate cut-off, before loading containers on the vessel.
No container will be loaded on board on a vessel without VGM, resulting in cargo delivery delays. Additionally, potential demurrage and/or detention charges may apply when a container is sitting idle at the terminal awaiting for VGM submission.
