Effective 1st April 2022, a new global product, Container Protect Essential (CP1), would be introduced. CP1 is an equipment protection product to cover container repair and cleaning fees within a limit of USD100.
The CP1 will replace the surcharge Container Cleaning Import (CCI). CP1 will be applicable to all shipments imported into countries where CCI is invoiced today along with your destination charges. Payment terms remain the same.
To ensure a smooth transition, the tariff amount for CP1 is the same as CCI. In case container repair and clean fees may exceed the limit of USD100, we will invoice the difference separately.
