Effective start of April 2022, we will cease our slot exchange on ECX service.
This change is required to address the challenges in terms of reliability caused by operational bottlenecks that we observe across main North European ports. The changes will primarily ensure a higher level of predictability for your supply chain.
Alternative products will be offered to our customers either via Tangier/Algeciras transshipment or using the SAMBA service also serving Europe to South America East Coast. These alternative products will be able to cover majority of ECX origins and destinations, except for Rio de Janeiro and Navegantes, where the alternatives would be Sepetiba and Itajai, respectively.
Because of the above discontinuation, below will be last sailings where Maersk will have allocation on the Europe to South America East Coast – ECX service.
