International companies’ purchasing decisions impact environmental and social conditions around the world. We work to manage the risk of supplier non-compliance with our Supplier Code of Conduct damaging trust in our brand. Our main focus is on suppliers in high-risk categories and countries.

To manage the risk of supplier non-compliance with our Third-Party Code of Conduct.
Targets
2019: Ensure compliance with Third-Party Code of Conduct. Sharpen the focus on risk management through risk score methodology. Align supplier due diligence processes across segments in a consistent manner.
2020: Ensure compliance with our Supplier Code of Conduct, review responsible procurement programme to align with evolving risk picture from expansion of activities on land and participate in collaborative efforts focused on trucking.
Progress 2019
810 suppliers in high-risk categories went through audits and assessments resulting in improvement plans for 130 suppliers. Began integrating activities on land into our existing supplier assessment system, focusing trucking. Participated in the cross-industry platform Responsible Trucking. Began implementing new risk scoring system and automated monitoring. Updated our Supplier Code of Conduct to include guidelines for implementation, as well as evolving topics such as data security and privacy,
