Freetime: “Free Time” is the period agreed between the Carrier and the Merchant for which Demurrage & Detention and Terminal Storage shall not be paid by the Merchant.

Combined D&D: Compensation payable when the Merchant holds Carrier’s Container beyond the agreed amount of Free Time for the combined period inside and outside the terminal, port or depot. (Invoiced as “Detention”)

Terminal Storage: Compensation for utilizing the port, terminal, or depot facilities beyond the agreed amount of Free Time.

In Turkey Import Storage charged by terminal operator directly. Plug-in & Electricity settled directly by receiver with local authorities.

Tariffs:

• Shipper's own containers (SOC) are not subject to combined D&D.
• Non-operating reefer (NOR) is considered as DRY container.
• 40´ High DRY and 45´ High DRY containers enjoy the same tariff and rates as 40´DRY.
• Please note Combined D&D is invoiced under detention(DET) whilst Storage is invoiced under demurrage(DMR) charges.

*01/01/2020 tarihinden itibaren, boş dönüş bildirisi dışında gerçekleştirilen ithal boş dönüş durumlarında, 60 USD drop off fee (ekstra masraf) yansıtılacaktır.

*İzmir Bölgesi: BALIK KOKULU ve DERİ KOKULU REEFERLAR ve HASAR TESPIT EDILEN KONTEYNERLAR için boş dönüş ARKAS ALIAGA’ya olacaktır.
**Izmir region: for FISH SCENTED and LEATHER SCENTED REEFERS, and DAMAGED CONTAINERS, the empty return will be ARKAS ALIAGA DEPOT.

*Yılport tahliyeli konteynerlerin boş dönüşlerinin hasarlı ise Körfez Kara Depo’ya; hasarsız ise Venta Depo’ya yönlendirilmesini rica ederiz. (20’/40’ reefer / opentop ve flatrack konteynerler hariç – Bu konteynerler Körfez Kara Depo’ya dönmelidir.)
** We request to return empty units these are discharged to Yılport to same discharged port. If damaged units need to be delivered to Korfez Kara Depot (excluding 20 '/ 40' reefer / opentop and flatrack container - special equipments should return to Korfez Kara Depot.)

*Ambarlı Bölgesi: Hasar tespit edilen ekipmanların KLM Depo’ya bırakılması gerekmektedir.

• Freetime and charges per container per calendar day (i.e. including weekends and holidays) after freetime expires.
• Start date and end date are included in the calculation.
• Shipper’s Own Container is considered as equivalent to corresponding container type.
• 40´ High and 45´ High containers are considered equal to 40´.
• NOR (non-operating reefer) is considered as Dry Container.
• Shipper’s owned tank with DRY cargo follows free time & rate of Dry equipment.
• Shipper’s owned tank with IMO cargo follows free time & rate of IMO.
• For special deals: Please bear in mind that the calculation method of charges for special deals (free-time granted > tariff free-time) is ‘progressive’ and the lead off rate slap(s) will be reduced by the number of days in excess of tariff free-time.
• Free time deals will be applied based on the effective deals at the Price Calculation Date (PCD)
• Combined Demurrage & Detention starts with discharge date (included) and ends with gate-in empty date (included) from terminal.
• Pricing structure in Turkey consists of one element; 1. Combined Demurrage & Detention.
  • Combined Demurrage & Detention: Free time period and charges for utilization of equipment inside and outside of terminals or depots. (invoiced under DET).
  • Storage: Maersk is not involved. To be paid to terminals directly.
