Freetime: “Free Time” is the period agreed between the Carrier and the Merchant for which Demurrage & Detention shall not be paid by the Merchant.
Combined D&D: Compensation payable when the Merchant holds Carrier’s Container beyond the agreed amount of Free Time for the combined period inside and outside the terminal, port, or depot.
Terminal Storage: Compensation for utilizing the port, terminal or depot facilities beyond the agreed amount of Free Time. Port storage is not included into combined demurrage and detention tariff but port operator charges storage directly from customers.

Container Bond
Please note that Container Bond Fee will be applicable in the circumstances where Consignee is:
- An Individual Person
- Government Organization
- Charity and Religious Organization
- First Time Importer
- Has outstanding undisputed overdue account
- Cargo is moving to Outer Ports or Rural destinations (non-thru BL)
Container bond is refundable upon request and after presentation of EIR (Equipment Interchange Receipt) that confirms the return of empty container back to Authorized Empty Depot.
Any pending detention or container damages will be deducted from the bond prior to the refund.
