Maersk leadership teams, as well as management in all other areas where cases of COVID-19 have been identified, are closely monitoring the situation as part of our strong commitment to ensure the safety of our employees whilst working towards mitigating any possible impact to our customers’ operations.

General Status
Following the measures imposed by the Australian government to protect our communities from the outbreak of the COVID 19, we would like to inform you of our revised safety procedures within the Maersk operated Australian Warehouses.
To offer our customers business continuity while protecting the health and safety of our staff, the Maersk warehouses in Oceania will remain open at the below times with increased mandatory safety procedures required by anyone visiting the site

The following procedures will be required for transport courier companies/contractors arriving on site at the Maersk warehouse.
- All courier drivers and contractors must complete a health questionnaire upon arrival at the warehouse.
- Courier driver’s iPad must be cleaned with disinfectant wipes prior to being signed/held by receptionist.
- Warehouse staff will use antibacterial wipes or wash their hands each time after handling courier driver’s paperwork, freight or parcels.
- Courier drivers must stand at one meter’s distance from the warehouse reception window.
We will continue to keep you regularly updated on the situation which can change very fast depending on local regulations and the release of updated government guidelines.
