Update 1

We are very pleased to inform you of our seasonal Napier peak season inducement program for Southern Star which will commence in Week 14 of 2026 and will run for a period of 9 weeks. This program will provide a direct connection for time sensitive commodities from Napier to Southeast Asia and beyond to Europe, Africa and the Middle East via our hub ports and highly reliable global network.

With the Southern Star calling Napier during peak season, Maersk is well placed to cater to your peak season requirements with three weekly departures:

1. Southern Star – Direct to Southeast Asia and beyond via our hubs to Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
2. Northern Star – Direct to Greater China
3. JStar – Direct to Japan, Korea and Greater China

The updated rotation for Southern Star will be Tanjung Pelepas – Singapore – Sydney –Tauranga – Napier – Lyttelton – Port Chalmers – Tanjung Pelepas.

The tentative dates for the inducements are as follows:
