Due to the current weather conditions and high swells affecting shipping movements into Napier port, RIO BLANCO 320S/322N will omit Napier to mitigate any further disruption and to allow for schedule recovery. Our teams have been working closely with the terminal/s to secure alternative options and we’re pleased to advise that the following contingency routing have been secured for affected bookings:
- Napier exports will be updated to TRIESTE TRADER 327W* which will perform an inducement call at Napier on the 23rd June with cargo routing via Tauranga through to connecting services (*vessel has been cleared for Napier port entry due to its smaller size).
- Napier imports will discharge in Lyttelton and route via connection to GSL KITHIRA 325N.
We are working with the respective ports to update the forward schedule along with cut-off’s, which will be published on their respective websites.
