Thank you for being part of our Ocean Flexible journey. Post the launch of Flexible a few years ago, we have received a lot of feedback on how to make the product better suited to your needs. Hence, we have simplified the booking acceptance window and the application logic for amendment fee.

From 15th June 2023 onwards, all Flexible customers would be able to place bookings upto 7 days prior to ETD, reduced from the earlier 14 days. Customers can also cancel and amend for free upto 7 days to ETD.

However, any cancellation/change of transport plan within 7 days will be charged an amendment fee of 200 USD (per container). This would be applicable for amendments done from 15th July. This would continue to be invoiced on a quarterly basis and not be charged at shipment level.

The purpose of this fee is to cover additional costs and operational requirement to accommodate last-minute transport changes.

Please note that Amendment fee will not be applicable in cases where the change is due to carrier initiated reasons. Below table would help you understand the applicability of amendment fee basis the various scenarios.
