Following continued disruption to our ocean network in New Zealand, we wish to advise our customers of temporary changes to our New Zealand network.

This change will assist in restoring supply chain reliability during the New Zealand export peak season, while temporarily increasing capacity to Fiji to meet the current increase in demand.

The Maersk Nadi and the Maersk Nansha will phase-in to a temporary rotation, currently planned to connect Fiji to New Zealand’s outports. This change will allow these two vessels to avoid the congestion in the upper North Island, while reducing the number of port calls on the service. This will minimise vessel waiting time, enable stable network connections and further promote safe operations – a matter of great importance to Maersk.

Schedule Update - Maersk Nansha

The Maersk Nansha 306N will proceed with the previously communicated inducement call into Auckland, current ETA 20th February 2023. Nelson export cargo will be discharged in Auckland for onward connections to our global network.

On Maersk Nansha’s departure from Auckland the vessel will sail to Fiji and call Lautoka, Fiji followed by Suva, Fiji. Cargo from Nelson to Lautoka and Suva will remain onboard the Maersk Nansha 306N for direct discharge in Fiji.
