In order to keep providing you with our global services, Maersk is revising Export Service (EXP) and Extra Seal Charge (ESC) for the scope: Exports from Ecuador effective 01st January 2023 for non FMC trades and effective 15th for FMC trades. The first seal will stop to be charged outside the B/L and will be included in the Export Service. For additional seals (second and so on) ESC will apply as per below levels.
The revised tariff levels are as follow.

- The above surcharge acronyms mean: OF (Ocean Freight), OHC (Origin Terminal Handling Charge), DHC (Destination Terminal Handling Charge), ERS (Emergency Risk Surcharge), BAF (Bunker Adjustment Factor), LSS (Low Sulphur Surcharge) and PSS (Peak Season Surcharge).
- These rates are unaffected by, and do not affect, any tariff notified, published, or filed in accordance with local regulatory requirements.
