Please note below the Port of Houston announcement to implement a “Sustained Import Dwell Fee” on December 1, 2022. The new fee is in addition to any Carrier assessed demurrage charges and must be settled by the Shipper directly with the Port of Houston to allow cargo release.

To avoid any unnecessary delays in picking up cargo after December 1, 2022, we recommend you familiarize yourself with the new fee and the process to settle any charges due.

In the event you are moving on a store door bill of lading using a Maersk provided trucker, any fees associated with delivery delays connected to our selected trucker will be settled by Maersk unless delays are caused by the Shipper.
