In light of the current bottlenecks faced across the network worldwide, the unprecedented situation of severing port congestions continues to result in the accumulation of delays across several services on the Asia to Med Network.
This situation is driven by a combination of rapidly increased demand and pandemic-fighting measures across ports and supply chains globally. While Maersk is doing all in its power to combat the circumstances for its customers, the accumulated delays are currently causing further gaps in schedules and have re-sulted in several Asia to Europe Network departures being spread apart by more than 7 days.
After careful review of the schedules, Maersk has decided to adjust voyage numbers starting from the be-low sailings to match with corresponding actual departure weeks of the vessels and services - improving visibility to our customers without decreasing capacity.
We aim to minimize the impact to our customers and will communicate any further changes separately in due course.
