Please note that 6 digit HS code (Harmonized System Code) will be mandatory information requested on submission of shipping instructions for all the Export shipments moving out of Jebel Ali Terminals.
The effective date for these new regulations is from 01 January 2021.
These details are required prior vessel departure. If the Shipping Instructions are submitted after the vessel departure, shipments will be subjected to AED 10 per bill of lading, as a penalty towards Pending Advance Manifest Fee.
Shipping Instructions received without or incomplete WCO (World Customs Organization) 6-Digit HS code will not be processed. These shipping instructions will be rejected, requesting the customer to resend the shipping instructions with complete information.
