Beirut explosion – Maersk Lebanon update 2

Further to our advisory sent on 6 August titled “Beirut explosion - Maersk Lebanon update", we would like to provide you with the latest update on the situation in Beirut, Lebanon.

Fortunately, our three injured colleagues have now recovered and the remaining team is still working from home to serve you in the best way possible.

The port in Beirut resumed operations as of late afternoon 10 August and our next vessel call will be operated at the port.

Kindly note that containers for below two vessels have been discharged in the port of Tripoli instead of Beirut due to the situation

Export acceptance is back to normal. Kindly be reminded that due to Covid-19 circumstances that we are still facing and in order to be in line with government restrictions, Maersk continue to follow these precautionary measures

• We are allowed to receive 2 to 4 people inside the counter area and all other guests should be waiting outside
• Masks are mandatory for all visitors. People who are not wearing masks will be asked to leave immediately
