Import clearance

Import declaration, document processing, and import clearance at the port, release cargo from terminal, processing at the port and container depot, and document courier with online visibility tools giving transparency for each mile stones, accessible via smartphone/normal web access

Subjects to following terms and conditions:
  • Applicable for Green lane clearance only
  • Subject to complete document, permit and licenses by importer/exporter
  • Subject to complete document timely hand over to Maersk as per agreed SLA or SOP
  • Subject to shipping line local charges, Maersk does not apply hidden charges and does not apply container deposit
  • Subject to additional 3rd party charges where applicable, such as, port tariff and its inspection charges and penalty charges, container depot tariff and cleaning/repair tariff, and government agency tariff as per declared HS code, i.e., Duty and Tax charges, Red lane/Customs inspection charges, Quarantine charges, Food & Drug administration agency (BPOM) charges, etc.
  • Subject to 3% management fee for all 3rd party charges if Maersk is expected to pay advance payment
  • Subject to additional item charge at IDR 5,000/item (five thousand rupiah) for declaration item beyond 20 items
  • Subject to additional service charges where applicable/requested, i.e. Yellow lane clearance service, Red lane clearance service, Permit/Licensing service, Certificate of Origin creation service, Independent Surveyor service, Origin Documentation Management service, HS code classification service, Duty and Tax valuation service, Quarantine service, Food & Drug Administration agency service (BPOM), Other Government Agency service, Court appeal/Tax refund service, Master list service, Diplomatic clearance service, ATA Carnet service, PLB service (own facility), Bonded clearance service, FTA consultant service, Export/Import consultant service, etc.
  • Subject to VAT 10% to all service charges
  • Rates applicable only for Jakarta, Cikarang Dry Port (CDP), Semarang, Surabaya seaport

Control tower service

Provides customized solution ranging from MCS 4PL to in plant staff placement at customer premises/work location or in Maersk office, as needed. In-plant staff is employee of Maersk, and service charge UoM either per document (or per BL) or per container. The in-plant staff main role is taking over customer specific process steps/tasks.

Permit/Licensing service and OGA service
