ROLE OVERVIEW:
As the Continuous Improvement Manager, you will work closely with the Area Landside Operations Manager to lead transformative initiatives aimed at optimizing outputs, streamlining workflows, and reducing costs and waste. This role offers an opportunity to coordinate technical projects, champion innovation, and make a significant impact in driving efficiencies within the Landside Operations function.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY:
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of Continuous Improvement Partners across the Area.
- Process Optimization: Define priorities for process improvements, develop project plans, and oversee training and hyper-care activities.
- Tech Transformation: Drive the digital transformation agenda to enhance automation, standardization, and efficiency across the Area.
- Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with the Area Landside Operations Manager to establish local metrics complementing global KPIs and standards.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Design structured strategies, analyze data, and present actionable insights to support decision-making processes.
- Continuous Improvement Mindset: Foster a culture of incremental improvement, process redesign, and cost containment within the organization.
- Standardization & Compliance: Ensure adherence to standardized processes (IOPs & SOPs) and promote operational excellence.
- Collaboration & Upskilling: Work closely with Area Functions to enhance team capabilities, align initiatives, and drive adoption of new tools and processes.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 5+ years of experience in process improvement, project management, or similar roles.
- Knowledge of end-to-end business landscapes and operational excellence.
- LEAN/Six Sigma certification is highly advantageous.
- A track record of leading and inspiring high-performing teams.
- Strong skills in data analysis and structuring information for decision-making.
- Experience with LEAN, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Ability to plan, execute, and manage complex projects.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to manage cross-functional and cross-geographical initiatives.
- Familiarity with digital tools and processes to optimize workflows.
- Experience working in international or matrixed organizations.
- Customer centric mindset.
