The Site Leader role is fully accountable for P&L and operations of the Warehousing and Middle Mile products for the specific site(s). This role ensures safe operations and an engaged workforce, while creating and maintaining the right work environment and ensuring the best quality customer experience. Site Leader directs and oversees operational policies, objectives, initiatives, loss prevention and employee relations & engagement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
HSE, Security & Business Resilience
Be aware of and comply with applicable legislation, customer requirements, the HSSE & BR frameworks.
Implement and maintain HSE
Ensure all incidents and near misses are reported and investigated and their root cause eliminated.
Ensure communication and training is in place for employees in HSSE
Operational excellence
Be the main point of escalation for subcontractors/ vendors/ agencies used at this location – for performance management, active engagement etc.
Drive compliance & regulatory adherence
Monitor and control productivity.
KPI customer to monitor customer satisfaction.
People
Create the right work environment for colleagues to have a sense of belonging by creating a site engagement plan.
Coach, guide, and develop colleagues to help them achieve their full potential with comprehensive training.
Deploy and utilize tools to create a culture of recognition and inclusion, while valuing diversity.
Understand the local Employee Relations Strategy and responsible for the implementation of and compliance with the mandatory employee relations policies and standards in the location supported by the local People Partner.
Leads the Employee Forum / Workers Council meetings
Profit & Loss
P&L responsible for the site. Covering all products and clients offered at this site.
New and existing customer management.
Contract management.
Site performance (cost/utilization).
Establish continuous improvement process.
Product
Develop new customers by liaising with relevant teams.
Own Site or new customer implementation.
Set and achieve growth targets as per Are / Region leadership guidance and own the site business plan
Fidelization and development of customer through active relationship
Customer Relations
Build strong relationships with the senior leaders of the customer working with the operations and account teams to ensure delivery day to day.
Oversee contract management.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
Deep experience in a fast-paced warehousing environment
Demonstrated expertise in leading warehousing operations
In some countries, it is usual to require a Bachelor's degree, yet this is not mandatory everywhere
Experience in a 3PL environment supporting multiple customers or lines of business
Demonstrated experience working with customers to improve business operations
A leader of leaders to build a strong team
People and talent development experience
Collaboration and influencing skills
Understanding of local cultures
Local market knowledge
Financial acumen - ability to read, interpret and act on P&L
Self directed / entrepreneurial
Strong dealing with customers
