Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Oversee and guide a team of staff and drivers, ensuring effective execution and coordination of all transportation-related activities within the organization.

  • Performance Management: Achieve and sustain key performance indicators (KPIs), managing daily operations to ensure performance targets are met consistently.

  • Route Planning: Develop and schedule daily transportation routes to maximize vehicle utilization, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Resource Allocation: Use the transport planning system to allocate and track resources, maintaining detailed records of vehicle assignments, schedules, and completed deliveries.

  • Operational Efficiency: Identify and implement cost-saving measures, conduct regular operational reviews to identify and address performance gaps, and optimize existing processes for better efficiency.

  • Cost Management: Monitor, report, and control transportation costs to align with budgetary constraints and improve cost efficiency.

  • Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure all vehicles are maintained in excellent condition to guarantee timely deliveries and minimize maintenance costs through improved fuel efficiency and reduced repair needs.

  • Sub-contractor Management: Ensure that sub-contractors comply with agreed terms and service levels.

  • Customer Support: Provide effective support and communication to both internal and external customers, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.

  • Safety Promotion: Promote a culture of safety through regular safety audits, meetings, and individual discussions to ensure a safe working environment.

We are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in transportation or logistics management.

  • Familiarity with local regulations and rules, such as those set by the Land Transport Authority (LTA).

  • Strong leadership, planning, and inventory management abilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently and be self-driven to achieve goals and handle responsibilities effectively.

  • Good command of both spoken and written English, along with native proficiency in Korean.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
