For our offices in Poland we are currently looking for a People Partner to strengthen our team. Due to our scattered footprint in Poland we expect the main base to be close to Warsaw & surrounding offices in Warsaw like Mszczonow, and we expect regular presence in our Gdynia location.

The People Partner role is characterized by a variety of responsibilities, and you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the business in your designated geography. You will work in a dynamic environment, drawing on your broad HR toolbox coaching and supporting leaders through a journey of great business transformation. Your daily responsibilities will be to engage with different stakeholders using your wide breadth of HR knowledge to support leaders on a range of people matters and policies.
This role is supporting our Ocean & Logistics businesses with a heavy focus on growth and transformation by being in close proximity with respective commercial teams. Key responsibilities
You will be deeply involved in partnering up with a diverse scope of leaders in our Commercial and Delivery organizations businesses where you will both work on the implementation and steady state people partnering by ensuring that all people processes are handled in the right manner in addition to transformation and change management aspects.
During 2024 your role will continue to evolve and your scope will change from implementation to steady state to include the below areas of responsibility:
- Partner with the People function stakeholders on the implementation of the People Strategy.
- Co-lead and drive change management and cultural transformation agenda for our Poland organization, together with our local People function teams.
- Ensure that local business/organizational aspects are represented promptly within our overarching area business priorities. Contribute directly by continuous improvement initiatives/projects, mobilizing key stakeholders and lead by example.
- Deliver on our service delivery model by working closely with HR professionals and specialists within our People Advisory teams, People Solutions and Delivery teams.
- Build strong relationships with leaders and their teams and be their main point of contact and sparring partner on all people matters.
- Drive the local delivery of the annual HR cycle, including annual performance management, rewards, succession planning and development.
- Resolve employee relations issues, support and advise leaders on HR-related matters & policies.
- Stay up to date with the local employment law landscape to ensure local compliance, whilst managing local continuous improvement cycles/projects to keep Poland country agenda in alignment with business agenda at multiple layers
- Act as talent broker encouraging the transfer of individuals from one part of the organization to another to obtain specific developmental experience.
- Work effectively with the entire regional People Partner Organization team on day-to-day delivery of people processes as well as to resolve complex cases cross functionally.
- Draw people insights from available real-time reports to identify and address opportunities for improvement with leaders and local management.
- Deliver trainings and workshops for local leadership teams and various employee populations on different HR topics.
- Participate in on-site recruitment where needed and coordinate and perform employee activities required on site such as onboarding, training sessions etc.
Who we are looking for

As for the skillset and experience, we are looking for:
- Solid experience as an HR generalist gained in a high-paced environment and deep understanding of HR fundamentals such as people performance management, employee engagement, compensation, development, and employee relations.
- Advanced knowledge of the local employment law and union relationship management
- Ability to build relationships, navigate through a complex stakeholder matrix, take ownership and act autonomously while also adopting a collaborative working style, fostering cooperation and teamwork, both with local People teams and regional/global ones.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Polish and English.
- Acting as a trusted advisor on a wide range of HR related matters and take ownership as a project manager for local implementation of global / regional initiatives
- Experience from large international organisations and the ability to build relationships and navigate a complex stakeholder matrix.
- Good change management, facilitation and coaching skills.
- Ability to take ownership and act autonomously, while also adopting a collaborative working style, fostering cooperation and teamwork to find solutions.
- Flexibility and adaptability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Resilience: the change process, is anything but straightforward; accepting uncertainty and demonstrating the ability to overcome challenges and deliver outcomes.
- Be self-driven, energetic, and have a ‘can-do’ mindset.
- Experience with working in high-paced companies and international environments would be highly desired
- Driving license B. cat.
