We are hiring an Operations Support Rep for our team in Boise, ID

Set schedule of Monday - Friday 9 am-5 pm, OT as needed

The Operations Support - Domestic role is responsible for assisting the manager with daily planning and monitoring of the overall operations of delivery and return orders. Work closely with warehouse staff and provide direction for pulling returns from warehouse locations.

Essential Functions:

  • Oversee shipments from Quote to Completion
  • Provide solutions for customer's various Air & Ground shipments based on the given parameters
  • Determine the most cost-efficient and time-effective methods of transportation on given shipments
  • Coordinate with a wide range of agents across our North American Network
  • Cut paperwork for the airlines and truck partners
  • Follow up and track all active shipments
  • Develop a working knowledge of various aircraft cargo capacities and regulations
  • Assist in inbound operations, dispatch, and dock operations
  • Assist in loading/unloading trucks as needed.
  • Coordinate and process all return shipments on a daily basis
  • Review and work daily return report and POD on dock report
  • Organize the return area so that every shipment can be identified
  • Prioritize shipments for loading in order to maximize trailer capacity
  • Coordinate trailer drops and recoveries with Pilot Hub Operations
  • Liaise with relevant corporate personnel at all levels
  • Help with customer service issues as they arise
  • Other duties as requested

Skills/Competencies:

  • Freight Forwarding or Dispatch Experience
  • Top-Notch Customer Service
  • Excellent Computer and Communication Skills
  • Detail-Oriented
  • Strong Verbal and Written Communication
  • Highly Organized
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Adaptable and Friendly Interpersonal Skills
  • Must pass a Security Threat Assessment and pass yearly TSA testing for IAC

Education:

  • Associate degree or equivalent required

Pay Range: 

$20-$23/hr

*The above-stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
