Middle Mile Supervisor

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise & coordinate the transportation of goods between regional hubs and fulfilment center

• Ensure shipments delivered On Time

• Monitor all vehicles fleet to ensure efficiency, safety and regulatory compliance

• Manage Transportation vendors, carriers or 3rd Party and ensure service level agreements (SLA’s) are met

• Manage a team of drivers, provide relevant training and performance feedback to employees

• HSSE compliance for staff and visitors

• Work Closely with the Account Coordinator to develop efficient and cost-effective transportation.

• Analyse & Improve Middle Mile Process to reduce costs and increase efficiency in the operations

• Collaborate with Warehouse Team to ensure accurate inventory

• Ensure proper Handling, Storage & Transportation of goods to minimize loss or damage

• Track & Report Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

• Ensure supportive/ required documentation provided to ensure a smooth Delivery

• Coordination with customers/CX on picking/delivery planning

• Escalate any challenge on time

• Share relevant and accurate data to Account Coordinator for them to timely inform customers/management

• Ability to align with customer expectations upfront & to be able to respond with suggested solutions

• Help Customers during the delivery process and ensure our promise delivered on time

• Contribute to improve customer experience

• Be cost-efficient
