As the Program Manager in Maersk Ground Freight and E-Commerce (MGFE), you will be an integral part of ensuring a streamlined day-to-day operating model for the platform and the MGFE leadership team. In this role, you will ensure that the operating system for the platform is running effectively from bi-weekly to quarterly engagements. You will be responsible for ensuring that the right tactical and strategic priorities are discussed, and you will apply your structured mindset and rigor to ensure that actions are effectively captured and addressed accordingly. In addition, you will work closely with a wide variety of with cross-functional and cross-regional teams across Maersk, to drive business outcomes, reducing issues, driving transparency and accountability across teams, and more in a data-driven manner. 

Location: East Coast, Remote

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a successful program operating model is in place and enable continuous improvement of the operating system for maximized output.
  • Orchestrate, drive, and support operational and tactical project deliverables as needed including planning, resourcing, tracking and communications.
  • Collaborate across platform stakeholders to ensure a holistic view on both tactical and strategic priorities within MGFE. 
  • Support on developing and reviewing internal and external communications on OP2 progress and updates by creating KPIs and dashboards that reflect program adoption and potential blockers.

  • Communication: You are a strong and effective communicator – verbally and written – with high attention to detail.
  • Business acumen: You easily understand and adapt to new business areas and environments. Ideally, you already have a good understanding of our business and experience from some prior strategic work.
  • Project Management: You can scope and drive smaller projects in a structured manner to enable accelerated transformation. You are very collaborative and enable strong cross-functional engagement in your projects.

What you bring

  • Minimum 5 years of Program management experience of leading complex technology delivery programs.
  • Ground Freight experience
  • Proven track-record of taking ownership and driving results. 
  • Experience shaping product strategy, prioritization, and ways of working.
  • Strong focus on standardization and sustainable operating model
  • Delivery focused with excellent attention to detail and drive to resolve issues, prioritize and meet deadlines.

Pay Range: $115,000 - $140,000 USD*

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
