Summary:

The role of the Landside Execution Specialist – Landside Transportation ensures the timely delivery of import and export containers utilizing preferred or line-approved routings while providing the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform standard daily duties of regional desk ownership including reporting, proactive notification of issues to vendors, timely communication of support needed from other internal parties, and consistent stakeholder management when deemed needed.
  • Coordinates with rail, vendor and terminal operations to ensure movement of containers as planned.
  • Continuously checks that all store door import/export requirements are maintained to ensure the timely departure of import/export cargo as per service delivery requirements.
  • Use critical thinking to solve complex exceptions and find opportunities to prevent or improve processes for the future.
  • Maintains data integrity through accurate inputs/updates to all related systems.
  • Maintain collaborative relationship with other internal teams to better support the customer experience.
  • Learn and maintain proficiency in the following systems: Excel, Salesforce Case Management – dashboards and reporting, CODs, Landside Power BI Dashboards, Cloud Telephony/Microsoft Teams Enterprise Voice

Required qualifications, experience & skills:

  • Landside logistics (inland transportation) in North America for +1 year
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English, other languages a plus
  • Professional career degree
  • Teamwork and interpersonal savvy
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Process improvement skills
  • Solid computer skills (including but not limited to Microsoft Office suite)
  • Detail oriented
  • Organization

Pay Range:

$50,000 - $60,000

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
