What We Offer

The Internal Communication Advisor is responsible for executing internal communications across the region. This includes providing strategic communication support to senior leaders, driving team engagement efforts, and collaborating cross-functionally with relevant teams to effectively bring the Integrator strategy to life within the region.

A key aspect of this role is recognising that a significant portion of the workforce consists of frontline colleagues, requiring innovative communication approaches beyond traditional office-based tools. The Internal Communication Advisor works closely with the Frontline People Organisation to ensure frontline colleagues are fully informed and engaged by adapting strategic messages to meet their needs and ensuring they feel included in the company’s transformation journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide coaching and support to key leaders across Asia Pacific in developing impactful executive communications and enhancing team engagement.

  • Collaborate closely with the Frontline People Organisation to ensure strategic messaging is effectively cascaded to frontline colleagues across the region.

  • Drive content creation and storytelling related to the company’s transformation and milestones within the Asia Pacific region, aligning with the Integrator 2030 strategy.

  • Develop and deliver content for townhalls and internal platforms, such as OneMaersk or Viva Engage (regional pages), ensuring engagement and relevance.

  • Work cross-functionally to lead and support regional initiatives that strengthen the company’s brand and reputation.

  • Coordinate with global Communication teams and ensure content alignment and seamless execution of global projects within the region.

  • Serve as a regional brand ambassador, ensuring brand guidelines are upheld in collaboration with Area and Function business support teams.

We are looking for

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Corporate Communications or related roles.

  • Degree in Communications, Business, or a related field, with native or near-native fluency in English and excellent writing and communication abilities.

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to distill complex, technical topics into clear, engaging messages.

  • Proven experience supporting senior stakeholders with tailored communication solutions, consistently delivering high-quality results.

  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills, earning trust by actively listening, providing sound advice, and executing efficiently.

  • Curious and adaptable learner, able to engage with diverse subjects and technical experts, transforming their insights into compelling narratives aligned with strategic transformation goals.

  • Experienced in tailoring messages to diverse audiences, utilising both traditional and digital platforms to foster engagement and conversation.

  • Proficient in producing content across multiple formats, including live or virtual town halls, written articles, podcasts, and videos.
