Opportunity

A.P. Moller - Maersk is an integrated container logistics company responsible for moving 20% of global trade every year. With a dedicated team of over 100,000 employees across 130 countries, we are committed to connecting and simplifying global trade to help our customers grow and thrive.

Are you looking for a dynamic workplace where you’ll be part of a team that will build unique and stimulating customer experiences? Are you ready to flex your strategic skills to create content that takes number-heavy info and turns it into fascinating content? If so, then we might have the job for you.

We are currently looking for a new colleague to join our team. We are looking for someone with a strategic mindset, who understands how to combine data and insights to create content magic. We’d love for you to have experience from consumer-focused advertising, but it’s not a must.

In the role of Content Manager, your primary responsibilities will consist of developing creative content that convert prospects/leads into our future customers. To succeed in the role, you’ll be well-versed in this and have earlier experience with it.

You will report directly to the Head of E-commerce Marketing Execution within Digital Marketing, and interact with multiple stakeholders within Maersk, primarily across Marketing and Product teams. Your role will have ample interaction with designers, researchers, product managers, engineers, data scientists and UX, partnering to deliver compelling content solutions.

We are a close-knit team, both within the digital team and the Marketing team, and can promise a vibrant environment with supportive and engaging colleagues. For us at Maersk, it is a key priority to drive personal and professional development for our people to prepare for further career progression.

Responsibilities

  • Creating content for multiple channels, including landing pages, emails, guides, video scripts and short articles.
  • Apply big-picture thinking to break down open-ended opportunities into meaningful next steps, creating content that guides customers on journeys through our digital portals.
  • Write clear and concise content across multiple touch points (including product names, labels and navigational elements, emails, tutorials, marketing pages, and notifications) taking the prospect/users stage with us into consideration (first time customer vs. repetitive customers etc.).
  • Offer a content strategy perspective throughout the product development process and influence strategic decisions across and within products to improve the overall experience and ensure consistency across platforms.
  • Empower people who use Maersk services to feel welcome and emboldened to ship like a professional even though they are no experts in logistics, carefully considering tone and writing content that's consistent with Maersk's mission of belonging.

What we look for

An ideal candidate should have below qualifications

  • 7+ years of professional writing experience.
  • You are fluent in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Experience in writing content for web/mobile products as well as emails, landing pages, or editorial content.
  • Experience in writing stories or more long-form editorial content.
  • Proven ability to collaborate successfully with cross-functional partners.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid understanding of email marketing and social channels.
  • Portfolio of writing samples.
  • Experience writing for social impact products or audiences is a plus.

If you've been reading until this point and this could be a role you would thrive in, we would love to hear from you! Please send your application, including resumé and a portfolio.

We are interviewing on an ongoing basis and therefore encourage you to send us your application as soon as possible.
